What is my Convo number?
You can receive calls through Convo Now in two ways.
A hearing person can call your Convo Now number directly, or via your mobile number if you have set up a call forwarding already.
When a call comes in, it connects you with an interpreter on Convo Now app.
To receive calls, you need to stay signed in to the Convo Now app. This allows you to receive call notifications and answer incoming calls.
Receiving Calls via Convo Now:
A hearing person can call you using your Convo Now number.
You can find your Convo number in two places:
- It is emailed to you by the Convo team.
- It is shown on the main page of your Convo Now app, marked with a green arrow.
Optional, set up call forwarding:
If you prefer, you can set up call forwarding so calls to your mobile number are forwarded to your Convo number.
To do this:
- Enter your Convo now number in your phone’s call forwarding settings.
- If you are not sure how to set this up, you can contact your mobile network provider. They can explain how to set up call forwarding and guide you through the process.
This step is optional and gives you more choice in how you receive calls.
When a hearing person calls you, the call will appear on your screen.
- Tap Answer.
- The Convo Now app opens.
- You are connected with an BSL interpreter and can start your conversation.
From here, you can communicate your needs and lead the conversation in your own way.
