With the UK’s Access to Work grant, eligible users can receive funding for communication support — such as BSL interpreters, assistive technology, or workplace coaching — at no personal cost. Once approved, employees can enjoy the freedom of using Convo Now UK, gaining their own work number to make and receive calls confidently and independently, without relying on others.

Simple to Access, Easy to Use

Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up using this form for us to get in touch with you with support you with your Access to Work application with the government.  

2. Wait for assessment and approval — the process can take up to 10 months due to the current AtW backlog. While you wait, we’ll grant you complimentary minutes so you can start using the service straight away.

3. Download the Convo Now UK app (if you haven’t already).

4. Start using the service — including our free Community Directory. 

5. Once approved, you’ll receive invoices from Convo, which you then claim back from Access to Work.

Funding does not affect your other benefits and can last for up to three years. Depending on the size of your employer, they may be asked to contribute.
